What is the perfect body?

As humans, we want perfect things. The perfect house, the perfect car, the perfect clothes, the perfect body. But what IS the perfect body? In this blog I will be exploring what the perfect body is, how searching for the perfect body can be dangerous for your mental health and explaining why the perfect body cannot exist without the perfect mind. 

First things first, there is no such thing as the perfect body. As humans we are all made different and unique. There is nobody in the world that is more perfect at being you, than you. This includes everything from your body to your mind. 

Loving yourself and how you look is the best thing you can do for yourself. Accepting that you are you is vital in finding peace within… It isn’t easy by any means to just start loving yourself but it is key. Try doing these following things to start your journey of self love:

Improve your inner voice - Overcome negative thoughts of yourself, people sometimes have trouble letting go of negativity but in doing that you can improve your opinion of yourself (focusing on the positives)Avoid perfectionismLook on the bright side! - We very easily forget how beautiful life is. When I was growing up my parents often told me “When you’re angry its easier to see the bad in everything” this taught me to see the good even when things can seem badNEVER call yourself namesDon’t assume the worst will happenList your positive attributes and review them oftenRepeat positive affirmations every day
There is no such thing as the perfect body and you’ll never be able to get anywhere near the concept of perfection without the perfect mind. Learn to love yourself and the body that you’re in and you’ll feel more comfortable in yourself and in the world.
